Interiors: Dar Sabra

Ranked among the most beautiful houses in the world, Dar Sabra is a unique hotel located in the heart of Marrakech palm grove only ten minutes way from the animation of the city and the charm of the medina. Nestled in a luxurious garden of more then 2 hectares, offering a calm and relaxing vacation. you will be transported into a world combining charm, modernity, culture and art. Thanks to its Mexican-inspired architecture and all its art pieces nestled everywhere in the hotel.

Check out Dar Sabra's website HERE to see more of the images I recently shot for their site.

Project: Maria Jose Arjona

Maria Jose Arjona is a performance artist from Bogota, Colombia who recently was commissioned to put on a performance here in Marrakech for the Voice Gallery.

I was asked to photographer Maria's performance so the photos could be used as part of the touring gallery exhibit.

Above are a small selection of those images which were printed in large format By Still Images Studio and will be on display at The Voice Gallery until April 28th.

Check out Maria's website here.

It was great working with Maria, not only is she extremely talented, she is also one of the sweetest people I have had the chance to work with.  Good Luck Maria...

Just a couple of photos from the graduation class at ESAV.

This is the second time I got a chance to shoot at ESAV, and I'm always impressed with the students coming out of this school. The Moroccan Film industry is in good hands.

Rallye du Maroc Classic

A few weeks back I was hired by the Palmeraie Golf Hotel and Resorts to photograph the 18th Edition of the Rallye du Maroc Classic. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love cars, especially classic. So it was a real pleasure to visit the Les Jardins d'Ines and take photos of such beautiful automobiles.

America's Next Top Model

Last November and December I was lucky enough (or maybe because I'm the only English speaking digital tech in the country) worked with American's Next Top Model. They where filming episodes here in Marrakech for their new Season. For almost 4 weeks I worked with a few of the most talented photographers, and cinematographers I've had the pleasure to be around. We filmed at two of my favorite locations La Pause and Sidi Kaouki, and shoot all around Marrakech.

I would like to give a big Thank You to my friend Massimo from Smashbox Studio. For letting me follow him around and learn a thing or two along way.

Nathalie has on going shows, and carries works of art by many photographers including Still Images own Alan Keohane.

Katharina Wulff

Katharina is a Germen artist who lives here in Marrakech. I got a chance to go to her Riad in the medina and take photos of her work for a book that will be incorporated into a show she will be doing in New York City this summer.

It was great to see Katharina's work and spend the day in her Riad..

More info on Katharina here

Neil Forsyth

I had the pleasure of meeting Neil on a trip he made to Marrakech, after a few hours of discussing European vs. North African Football and "The Wire", I realized we had a lot in common. So I asked if I could take a couple of photos.

Neil has written two great books which have been extremely successful. And he's just released his first Novel "Let Them Come Through" which I hope to get my hands on soon.

You can check out Neil and the endless number of projects he's working on here.
